Here I Come
Again , Lord (wma)
(WAV)(MP3) Lyrics: (MS-Word);(HTML);(PDF)
(© 2004, P. Connell)
Recorded in February/March of 2006, this
was an early staple of
the Heart-Beat! live show. This song has evolved over the
years, but the drums have always been a key part, and Dan lays down
a great drum track on this recording. The newest part of this
song,
and the icing on the praise cake, is Brian Muller's smoking lead guitar
work. The core of this song is simple: we are needy people, but no
matter how much we need, the Lord will satisfy all of our needs.

If We Bow Down
(wma)(wav)
(mp3)Lyrics: (MS-Word);(HTML);(PDF)(© 2005,
P. Connell)
Recorded in March of 2006, this gentle song of praise shows
the softer side of Heart-Beat! This track features a lovely keyboard
and lead vocal by Lisa Ennis, some nice acoustic work by Brian
Muller, and wonderful background vocals by everyone. A
consistent part of Jesus's teaching, but one that we overlook
sometimes, is that we are called to serve each other. But our
pride gets in the way of "bowing down".(added

Walk Down This
Road (wma) (wav)
(mp3)Lyrics:
(HTML)((© 2003,
P. Connell)
Recorded in February/March of 2006. This song features
some nice "Sun Studio" licks by newest Heart-Beat member, Mike
Benson. This has been a fun part of Heart-Beat! shows since we
started and usually has the longest stage introduction. The
song was inspired after watching "O Brother Where Art Thou" and
listening to a sermon by Fr. Thomas Sparacino, when he was a
parochial vicar at St. Valentine.(added

Jesus Lord Now and Forever (wma) (wav)
(mp3)((© 2005,
P. Connell)
Recorded Live at
Scream Asylum by Walt Winkowski in October, 2006
When your burdens are too much for you to bear, give them to the
Lord and he will release you. The title was inspired by the
front doors of St. Valentine Church, which bear the inscription:
Jesus, Lord, Yesterday, Today and Forever. (added

Jesus
You're My King (wma) (wav)
(mp3)((© 2005,
P. Connell)
Recorded Live at
Scream Asylum by Walt Winkowski in October, 2006
This song features Brian Muller on vocals and lead guitar and the
driving force that is Dan Connell on drums. We don't rock any
harder than this. (added

12 & 72 (wma) (wav)
(mp3)((© 2005,
P. Connell)
Recorded in the Fraw, December 2006 while testing a new
recorder.
This song features interwoven vocal parts by team 12 and team 72 and
some nifty faux mandolin work by Brian (using a thin pick on his
acoustic guitar.) Inspired by Luke 10, this songs speaks about
the need to answer God's call, to continue the work of Jesus and his
Apostles. (added
